CND Shellac UV Top Coat is to be applied over Shellac Nail Polish and cured using a UV lamp. Polish application will last up to 2 weeks.
Shellac lasts much longer than your regular manicure; approximately 14 days without chipping or peeling. Dry time is instant, making the application process fast and ensuring your polish doesn’t smudge.

Shellac Application Instructions
- Apply Shellac UV Base Coat and cure each hand for 10 seconds under UV lamp.
- Apply one thin coat of Shellac color polish and cure for 2 minutes.
- Apply a second coat of color polish and cure for 2 minutes.
- Apply Shellac UV Top Coat and cure for 2 minutes.
- Remove the sticky film left on the nail with a lint free pad soaked in 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.

A Fun Addition To My Collection
This Matte Top Coat is extremely easy to use and create's a fun matte finish. I was not disappointed, I will say that I don't find manicures last as long as they normally do with the matte top coat. Usually I can get between 12-14 days with the normal top coat, I have experienced early chipping or cracking with the matte around day 8-10 days which is still pretty good. Also not every colour of polish looks great with a matte top coat (some are just meant to shine!). I suggest trying it with multiple colour and playing around with it especially before trying with clients or friends. It is a great addition to have to your polish collection especially for friends or clients that are looking to mix it up or are looking for a fun change to a favourite colour. You can create interesting french manicures with it, or patterns for nail designs. Overall a fun product that creates a unique look every time!

Does not Matte
I was so excited to try this top coat but I did not perform to my expectations whatsoever. It didn’t create a matte effect, it only slightly removed the shine from the polish underneath. My manicure ended up being ruined because it wasn’t shiny but wasn’t matte. It was something in between and not at all attractive. Waste of money in my opinion as the product does not do what it claims.
