Had no issues with this base coat. Goes on smooth and cures nicely. Would definitely recommend.

I have not used the normal gel top coat from OPI so cannot compare but this one is very good. Keeps my mani shinny for days. I tried using other brand's base & top coat on OPI gel colors and it just doesn't stick, I can literally peel off the gel after a few days. This seems to make my nails grow faster too/
