About China Glaze: China Glaze creates exciting, modern colors. They use China Clay as nail hardener resulting in long-lasting wear. Their non-thickening formula allow for excellent coverage. China Glaze has been featured in dozens of publications including Elle (with Kelly Clarkson), Lucky (with Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Nylon (with Avril Lavigne).
Application Instructions: For best results first apply a base coat to clean, bare nails. Then apply 2-3 coats of colored polish (depending on its consistency and thickness). For long lasting wear finish with a top coat.
I bought this colour mostly for the hype surrounding it - and I'm usually satisfied with popular China Glaze shades (not necessarily formula wise, but shade wise). However, this one dissapointed me tremendously. For starters, it never gets opaque. Three to four generous coats AT LEAST for the colour to start looking good. It also dries to a satin/matte finish, which I find often happens when neon or very bright pigments are used in a normal/cheap base. So, top coat is a must. And the colour itself?... It's okay. It looks nice alright, but I wouldn't say it pulls its weight reputation-wise. So, this one is a pass. A couple of stars for its nice lighter pink shimmer.
Cute summer color, my favourite on the neons collection. Love plumerias too!
