Ok.. Expensive for what you get

Huge fan of Butter London, but on the fence about this product. My manicure was shiny, but really didn't last longer than other manicures. I didn't have the immediate chipping/ peeling issue that others have had, but only got about three days before chipping / tip wear drove me crazy. As far as I'm concerned, the duo is easily replaceable with less expensive product. 123

    Too Expensive!!!

I bought this duo recently and tried it on. For the price I expected more shine and durability. I found better luck with the more affordable CND Weekly Top Coat. I wish I could return it, really not happy with this purchase :( 123

    Very Shinny but...

I agree with Kristie's comment about the shininess of this product, but for some unknown reason, the Top Coat will literally crack the next day! I have used it over Butter London shade Cuppa & Essie Topless and Barefoot, both have the same problem. I just did my mani in the regular way Base Coat + 2 Coats of polish + Top Coat, nothing insane or outrageous that would possibly cause any problems. So I have no idea why it would crack after one day. 123

    Insanely shiny!

This is hands down the shiniest, glossiest top coat on the market (I've compared it to both Seche and HK Glisten & Glow). The gloss on this is crazy. You don't even need glitter to have a blingy mani with this. I'm still staring at the nails because they're just that shiny and perfect looking. The bonus is that it's 3-Free and it's doing the things that Seche and HK Girl do as far as the 'cushiony' feel to the mani. It's not as fast-drying, but it does dry very fast - faster than typical 3-Free top coats. It's pricey so I'd recommend it if you're a gloss-fanatic or you've been avoiding top coats like Seche because they're only 2-Free. To me, it was worth the splurge, especially when you want to max the gorgeousness of a nice richly saturated base colour shade. 123
