    Streaky

I fell in love with the colour, but no matter what I do (base coat or no base coat), this streaks. I had similar problems with pastel colours from Essie. I don't know if the more expensive brands fare better in pastel colours, I wish there is a better product out there for a pretty colour like this.

    Cool mint.

Beautiful blue-tone mint green. No yellow-base at all. I did 2 coats but it was still abit streaky. For the colour and beauty, its worth 3 coats.

    My favourite Essie ever!

Absolutely love this polish. It's by far my favourite Essie polish. Although it's called Mint Candy Apple, it comes out looking more blue on the nails. It has a great formula! I usually paint on thin coats so it takes three coats to make it opaque.

    Nice but not perfect.

This is a nice colour. People were crazy for it a few years ago because of the colour, which is admittedly striking and generally flattering. But this is a two- or three-coater, ideally with top coat to get a smooth finish. It takes some work in application, so it doesn't rate five stars; but I'll wear it again.
