I bought this for the purpose of helping me to apply pale nail polishes. I'd read that to prevent streaking and enable easier application, you apply your base coat, one coat of the matte top coat, one coat of the pale polish, another matte coat, then another polish (keep going to a third if needed) and finish with your regular shiny topcoat. This product worked great for that. With my layering, there was no chipping either during my two-day test drive. Great value especially on sale!

So awesome with 2 coats!
Soooo happy I bought this polish. I was using NYC's Matte Me Crazy before this and they just do not compare. This dries quickly and looks great. However it will take 2 coats to make sure it dries smoothly over the entire nail and doesn't look bumpy.
