Sophisticated Nude
Love this classy grey pearly nude. Goes on beautifully & dries well with it's special topcoat. The brush and formula are really good. Yes, it can last for a week BUT (and this applies to all the brands claiming "week long" wear) after about 3-4 days, your nails need freshening up. It's not that the polish is chipping (usually) it's just that you need a topcoat refresh or something. No biggie. But let's just put that out in the open for all the week-long claims. IMHO, if you truly want polish to look as good on Day 7 as it did on Day 1, you need shellac or something.

My new favorite!
This pearl nude shimmer is absolutely gorgeous! To me it looks like there is just a hint of grey so its not a stark shimmer. I am a creme polish girl (very rarely do I shimmer or sparkle things up). This will be my go to neutral from now on. I can't stop staring at my nails. Now for the wear. I had this polish on when I had a very busy week, doing a lot of cooking and baking, with my hands in and out of dish water continually. NOT ONE CHIP! I couldn't believe it. The only reason I took the nail polish off was because me nails had grown far enough from my cuticle that they needed to be re-done. I had gotten close to 2 WEEKS wear! I usually have to redo my nails around day 5 or 6 but not with this polish. Now for the application. Flawless! The brush Essie has done for this line should be patented and every manufacturer should use this brush. Its a little rounded which makes it easier to get very close to your cuticle. This particular color I was able to do a nice one coater and it looks beautiful. Actually all the ones I've tried so far have been one coaters. My only complaint is my other brands are going to be sitting on the shelf as this is now my go to polish. LOL Thank you Essie for an amazing product! Please keep producing more and more colors.
