Not opaque at all.
I bought this shade of light pink because I read a review about it being opaque in 2-3 coats. It was more like 4-5. At 1-2 coats it was virtually the same as clear nail polish or the usual light pink shade.

My favourite nail polish!
Mademoiselle by Essie is the only nail polish I wear. It goes on easily, with no streaking & two coats gives me the perfect, soft, pink, opaque look. I am always getting compliments on how 'pretty and natural' my nails look.

Nice colour
Not my favourite from Essie, but that's probably because I feel it doesn't go with my skin tone very well. It looks great on my paler friends though. Needed three coats to properly cover my nail.
