I have both La Moss and Chanel Rouge Noir and they are exactly the same. I've swatched them both - in all variations of light and I can't tell the difference, so if you're on a budget, this is a great polish to get that super vampy look. The formula is easy to work with - it almost goes on like opaque black cherry syrup - the gloss and shine is crazy, even without top coat. It's very dark but it's obviously a dark oxblood and not black on the nails. Gorgeous. If I had to wear only one shade every winter of my life, this would be it. 123
This is a very rich dark oxblood shade - basically like cabernet sauvignon for the nails. The formula was very good and the brush offered great control - two coats were all that was needed. This is not a thick formula (I think it's a crelly?) but it's so pigmented, opacity is easy to achieve with minimal fuss. Very glossy on its own, but a nice fast-drying topcoat seals everything in perfectly. I used HK Girl Topcoat and had zero shrinkage and amazing shine. I will be reaching for this polish a lot this winter. It's just very sophisticated, luxe and easy to wear. 123
