No more ragged cuticles
This product has made the skin around my nails smooth and plump. I use it daily right before bed and wake up to healthier looking hands. I have tried other cuticle creams I have tried other cuticle creams but Healthy Hoof is cost-effective, and reliable. Other products often dry out too quickly. I ordered the one ounce jar to test its efficacy but quickly ordered the 4oz to ensure I don't run out. I would strongly recommend this product.

BEST PRODUCT EVER
I have been using Healthy Hoof for over 20 years and I have tried different products for comparison. I have always gone back to Healthy Hoof. It is the best hand cream out there for the cold winters but I use this all year round. I put it on several times per day and just before I go to bed. My brother in law used it on his hands when he raised cattle in Williams Lake.

Best nail conditioner ever
My nails peel easily & become brittle in the dry weather. I have been using this product for several years & my nails have never looked better. I was unable to find it in the beauty supply store, as it was sold out & on back-order. I found it on-line at NPC - so fortuitous, as I now have a new favourite on-line store for nail products! No improvement for brittle nails
I'm not sure if the formula is different here in Canada but from what I can tell, the ingredients list no protein at all (the US version contains Hydrolyzed Protein, among other things not listed on this tub) Protein or not, this seems to be just an extra-emollient hand/cuticle cream with a very strong medicinal smell. It leaves a sticky film on my hands (likely from the castor oil) that is not very comfortable, so I've stuck to just applying it to my nails and cuticles only. It's been 2 weeks and I've not noticed any improvement in nail strength or reduction in flaking at all. My cuticles are ok, but not any different from when I use a regular hand cream. I SO wished this would help my dry, brittle nails, but sadly, it did not. I will add that this is not a total waste. The thick texture makes it PERFECT as a foot (hoof lol) cream, where stickiness doesn't matter to me.
