Gelish Foundation Base Gel is to be applied underneath Gelish color polish and cured using a UV lamp. Polish application will last up to 3 weeks.

Gelish is a gel nail polish that is to be applied like regular polish but must be cured using a UV lamp. Gelish lasts much longer than your regular manicure; approximately 3 weeks without chipping or peeling. Dry time is instant, making the application process quick and easy.

you can only buy the 9oz bottle of foundation in stores, costing $37.00. this site offers 15oz bottle for $22.00 - much cheaper and larger!

I like this product, I just wish it had a longer brush for the application.

    Great product

I've tried different gel products in the past, and Gelish remains my favourite. I purchased the Gelish Gel Foundation Base and the Top Base, and both are great! I've noticed in some reviews that people disliked the small brush for the Base, but I actually loved it, because it's easier to manipulate and to apply the coat with more precision. The product makes the natural nail significantly stronger (my nails are weak, chip and break easily, and I've noticed how much stronger they are with the products). Would definitely recommend and will buy again.

    Trial and error

I'm responding to the person who said the gel was left tacky.. you need to finish the kit by applying the blue liquid from after the cured top coat. That will get rid of the tacky feeling. Ph bond, foundation, color, top coat, after uv, blue liquid. And make sure your nothing touches skin. That's where you get a lift. :)
