This looks way better on then I could have imagined. 3 coats gave amazing coverage. I love all the different colours when the light hits it. I highly recommend this nail polish and would repurchase /and try the other colours similar to this!
Okay I'm back with more things to say. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something but Cosmo dried up in the bottle after I'd used it only twice (and it was getting kinda thick and gummy even then). Not only did it dry up but it seemed to actually SHRINK and cling to the sides of the bottle so the brush can't reach what's left. I put a buttload of Seche Restore in there and used a wooden skewer to stir it around but I just can't get it to the point of usability again. But I'm still tempted to buy another bottle and see if that's any better - this is how much I love the absolutely glitter-bombiness of this particular polish.
It's got great coverage and looks amazing with a top of gel coat.
I just did kind of an ombre effect by painting a thin layer of Cosmo on my bare nails and then building up a few more layers right near the tip. It was quick and easy and looks FANTASTIC - frosty and festive and gorgeous. I want to try the same thing on top of white or dark green at some point for an even more bolder holiday look. In some lights I can still see a nail line even after three or four coats, but I don't care. If you do, maybe paint some plain silver on before applying this. Nail polishes usually chip within HOURS on me (which is why I usually only paint my toenails, which don't get bashed into stuff nearly as often), but this manicure is on its third day and still perfect. And if it does chip, the texture should allow me to do touch-ups without them being too obvious. Zoya pixie dusts are some of my favourite nail polishes EVER, and probably the only ones I'll ever bother wearing on my fingernails again thanks to their staying power. If you like shimmery/glittery polishes, you NEED this one. NEEEEEEEED.
