    OMG

I've never been so tempted to buy a second bottle of a polish "for backup" before. Bar is seriously awesome.

I was worried it would be too grayish-taupe on me like Godiva is, and indeed I think the base is a similar colour to Godiva, but the big gold glitters break it up and keep it from being too taupey. I'm pretty sure every possible kind of complexion would look great in this.

I like two coats the best - there's still a visible nail line but it looks like my fingernails were dipped in little gold nuggets or crushed jewels or something! It's like my nails are naked, only better!

Three coats is opaque or pretty close to it, and also much more in-your-face blingy - it becomes a real NAIL POLISH at that point instead of just an interesting, subtle-but-sparkly nude.

I tried Bar as a French tip over black and it looked amazing. I think it would be great as a glitter gradient over just the tips of natural nails, too. It's less good as a layering glitter since the base is beige, not clear.

If you've had your eye on this one but weren't sure - I think you should just go for it. It's really, really pretty, applies easily, and if it's anything like my other Pixie Dusts it'll wear really well, too.

I put this one on my toes, it feels like my feet have tiny disco balls on them, which is pretty amazing. Holds very well and applies quite nice. yay! 123
