This is a really shiny metallic polish. I only gave it 4 stars cause it chipped really quickly and it shows all the imperfection on my nails. When I first applied it with was super shiny, not mirror reflecting tho, and then it chipped. I put the base coat on top of the polish, after it chipped, and then applied Seche Vite top coat and it became even more shiny. I would suggest buffing your nails before applying cause it works best on smooth nails.

It has the mirror effect I was looking for. It last for only about 4 days before starting to chip. I would say that is it's down fall that it doesn't last long enough. But other then that get effects.

All I can say about this product is...AMAZING! If you follow the directions perfectly you can actually watch the polish turn to a chrome finish right before your eyes. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! Highly recommend!

Followed the directions of the bottle: put the basecoat it came with on, and no top coat. This polish started rubbing off that same evening. Until that point though, it looked awesome.
Another reviewer said they sandwiched it between coats of Seche Vite so maybe I'll try that next time. And yet another review suggested using it to stamp. I'll have to see.

I'm reviewing only the OPI glitter base coat, not the smaller sample base coat.
This stuff really does work. I tested it on one nail with some glitter polish and left it for a couple of days. The polish stayed on no problem and when it was time to remove, just a gentle lifting of an edge and it peeled right off, glitter and all. I just had to do a quick swipe with some remover to get off a couple of errant pieces but it sure was a lot easier than the traditionally-difficult glitter polish remover.

I wasn't impressed with this as a full-nail polish, but it is stellar for stamping over another base. Really mirror-like, crisp, beautiful stamped images that I've had on now for a week with no issues. It's sandwiched between coats on Seche Vite, and was a joy to use. By far my favourite stamping polish so far.

Atlhough it's an amazing color, it's not really mirror-effect. But I give this product 4 stars, because the color is really shiny and wonderful. The only thing is that it doesn't last long (fades in 2 two days) but it's okay because they disclose on the product that it's supposed to last only for one night. Overall, great product, I recommend it !

A little ticket to apply nut once you get the hang of it... it's cake! I founces it chipped pretty easy but I would just add another coat and boom all shiny and chromey again!! Over all awesome product.

If youre looking for silver, youve got it. THe colour is sooo metallic and beautiful. It doesnt last a long time before it starts chipping but they tell you that. I used Lay Down that Base as my base coat and no top coat. Youre guaranteed to get many compliments!!!

This is the shiniest chrome polish I have ever used! However it is a tricky polish to use. Like other reviewers have pointed out, it does show every flaw so you need to make sure you started with a really good base coat. I actually use Seche Vite topcoat on top of Lay Down that Base. Also, you have to apply in single strokes or else the metallic particles get all smeared.
