   You don't need another rave review, but here it is anyway! You will not regret this. Two coats over navy polish gives perfect glitter coverage.

   This is an amazing polish that definitely deserves its name! Excellent coverage and completely gorgeous in person - I'm not sure I've ever seen a picture that does it justice. I *love* this polish.
   
   However, as a glitter-heavy polish, it is bumpy/gritty and needs a lot of layers of top coat. I also found it prone to chipping.

5. Just amazing

   Wow. My second Lippmann polish - the first one was absolutely awful (streaky, clumpy and otherwise a total disaster), but I am so glad I gave the brand another shot and ordered this one. Goes on so nicely, and looks AMAZING. I like the rough finish, so I only used one layer of topcoat. Wondering if this brand is generally hit and miss in terms of the quality? No idea, but Mermaid's Dream is now among my favourite polishes.

6. Worth every dollar

   This is my 3rd Deborah Lippmann polish, and by far my fave out of the 3. This was literally opaque in one coat...I applied two however and the color was better than I dreamed it would be. Need a couple layers of top coat which is no biggy. I got this on sale so this is by far my fave purchase in regards to nail polish.

7. Gorgeous and long lasting!

   I didn't put a top coat on and my manicure has lasted 4 days chip free so far (and doesn't look like it's going to stop lasting anytime soon!). The color is gorgeous, and exactly what I wanted. This is my first Deborah Lippman and I am now hooked!

8. Every bit as beautiful in person

   Stunning colour and shine, although the glitter gives a gritty finish. Definitely need a few coats of topcoat, as other reviewers have said. I applied 2 coats for full coverage. Use a PVA (white glue) basecoat for super easy removal!

9. Exactly what I expected

   For $22, I was expecting amazing and that is exactly what I got! Mermaids Dream is opaque in just one coat, looks like a sea creature and needs no work to get it on your nails! Beautiful application and worth every stinking penny!! LOVE

    Great coverage and the colour is unique and very mermaid-y! It was a bit of a top coat eater...but well worth the extra couple of top coats. Long lasting and expect complements!
