Essie Matte About You is a top coat that will prevent your polish from chipping while giving your nails a matte finish. Matte About is to be applied over any nail polish, mattifying your polish job. It can also be applied on bare nails to remove the shine and give nails a dull look.

Absolutely adore this matte coat! I used it on every single mani for two weeks straight because I couldn't get enough! Definitely better than an all-matte colored polish and looks amazing over glitter and nail art!

Does smear some

Love what it does and it works wonderfully but it did smear some for me too. Otherwise it comes out wonderfully if only for that small downside.

Does anyone else find that even if you let your color dry over night, the matte finish still streaks it? It thins out some of my colors in spots which is the only reason it's not getting 5 stars from me. When it applies evenly, it looks amazing but when it smears the design I've worked on, it's horrible.

Looked all over to find a matte top coat. Finally found it online at NailpolishCanada.com. Just love it! Gives my existing polishes such versatility!

I find that if you use this as a top coat, it chips ALOT faster than normal top coat. My suggestion is to put on a no-chip top coat first, then the matte. Other wise I love this!! Looks so good with darker polishes.

Dries super quick! I found it kind of cracked my polish after about 2 days so I had to take it off. Looks cool though!
