I've read a zillion reviews on this polish and read nothing but wonderful things. I was sure this was going to be my go to for the summer. It is a nice polish, alright formula, but the bottle I received was much more orange than coral. Decent color, but not what I was looking forward to, so naturally I was a tad disappointed.

I don't think the colour is exactly as shown but I love it regardless

I have wanted to purchase Flip Flop Fantasy since I saw a swatch of it on Pinterest a few years ago. A friend of mine also owns this colour so I decided to go ahead and order it. I had read reviews that said the colour was not the same and it's true. The new FFF is much more orange/coral than a true bright pink. The new colour is still stunning and very bright, one of my favourite shades but I was looking forward to the old formula. I sort of hope they bring it back eventually!
As for the application, like I've found with most of China Glazes' neons, it is streaky and takes a few coats to level out. I did 3 coats and it looked perfect. I can see someone who is not as patient when painting their nails not wanting to use this though as it can be a little bit time consuming.

I bought this in a store so I had a better idea of the color I was getting. I fell in love!! and it looks amazeballs on tanned skin.
I agree that it looks nothing like the photos on the site . It's a very bright coral/orange/pink color but it is one of my new favorites

When I was researching this colour I thought it would be more pink, but a co worker had a bottle (recently purchased) and I saw that it was more orange coral. I bought it because I love the coral colour she showed me. China glaze apparently changed the formula for this polish, I don't understand why they didn't just launch it as a new colour, as I can see from other reviews that many customers wanted to restock that colour and obviously got the newly revised shade. I personally love the colour and get tons of compliments, it's perfect for summer and goes great with gold tones

Tried this on my toes and it was very hard to work with, but I did love the color.

It's a fun colour but don't expect pink. CG changed their formula for this shade a year and a half ago (you can find comparison swatches online) and the new version is much more of an orange/peachy version of coral neon. It's still pretty but most swatches show the old pink/coral version so it's important to know what you're getting.
The formula isn't the greatest but neons can be tricky. You don't need white undies - it's super bright on its own. I used three coats. It can be streaky but you should be good after three coats. Definitely use a good (thicker) top coat to prevent chipping. I used Zoya's topcoat the first time i wore this and it chipped on the same day. Go for Seche or Glisten & Glow - they will help smooth/level it out as well. It's a fun neon - worth the extra effort - and great for toes. I wish I could find the original FFF though - that's the shade I was first drawn to. This isn't a bad colour but would have loved just a touch more pink/coral. Oh well, that just means more polish to buy! :)
